For this unit I chose a picture of a moving car mainly because this unit
is so far all about velocity, speed and distance. The car that is in the
picture is moving relative to us in our own respective car. There are many
things that we an figure out when looking at this moving car. We can find out
its speed, velocity, and displacement. By doing these things we would be able
to know many things about this car and its driver. We could maybe even guess
where they are heading to and why they might be heading there if you are
feeling like you are in an investigative mood. All together, this car has
helped me to learn many things about unit two and I would like to personally
thank this car; but maybe not its driver.

Your picture is super artsy and i like it a lot. I agree that a moving car represents this unit and what we learned yesterday very well. I like how you included all the things we could figure out about the car because those are the things that we learned yesterday.
ReplyDeleteThis is a good summary about what we learned in unit 2. You covered the "jist" of what we learned and this is a nice original picture.
ReplyDeleteI like that you related your example back to the car–it's a really good visual and really helped me understand what we were talking about. Remembering that you can tell what direction the driver is going in was a cool observation, as well!
ReplyDeleteI like how you related what we learned today to something so ordinary. It really shows how much you understand distance, displacement, etc. I found it interesting how you made the inference that just from knowing a few things about a car, one can take an educated as to where the car is headed/why. Good job!
ReplyDeleteIt is moving? Relative to what? jkjk, well done, a moving car represents what we learned in unit 2 well, and that's an interesting idea, that the car's direction and speed could tell us a lot about the driver. If they're going fast, maybe they're late and need to get somewhere fast.
